The new Slipformpaver Model 5700 C combines the established features of the popular model 5700B with a narrower Design for even more manoeuvrability and is now available with left – right pour option.
The key-advantage of this feature is that it allows for example pouring of barrier walls on highways always “with the traffic”. This increases not only the safety on the jobsite but also eases the delivery of concrete to the machine.
The Power Curber 5700C outperforms the competition especially by its narrow design, allowing the operator a very good view from the loading of concrete to the final product.
Thanks to the narrow design the 5700C can be transported at a width of 2,5 m without special permit.
The Power Curber 5700C is qualified for a huge variety of applications. It is possible to produce (in center pour mode) up to 3 m wide sidewalks, bicycle lanes, golf carts; as well as up to 1,25 m high barrier walls. Furthermore it allows pouring curbs with tight radius (0,61 m!) for example in parking lots, other applications can be foundations, irrigation ditches, slotted drains and stadium risers.
Another interesting application is the production of slot drains and cable chutes. An inflatable tube is fed through an open front mold and concrete is being poured over it. After curing of the concrete the tube is being deflated and the tube is being removed again. The tube material is available in all common diameters and can be purchased at HEDKE GmbH.
